Strandings/Contacts

If you see a dead seal, report it quickly to the Cornwall Wildlife
Trust’s Strandings hotline on 0845 2012626
.

If you see a seal pup in need of human help, please keep out of sight and under observation, ideally for a full tide cycle. If the mother is not seen during this time, ring the Seal Sanctuary on 01326 221361. If you see a sick adult seal call the same number.

Harassment of marine mammals carries a £5000 fine or 6 months in prison and the police are keen to make an example of someone. Please don't let it be you!

If you see the seals being disturbed in any way, please do not hesitate to ring the British Diver’s Marine Life Rescue on 01825 765546
& the Police Wildlife Officer on 0845 777444.
