Thu 30th Nov 2006 Caption Contest - Ends 30th Nov Sometimes i capture Seals doing somthing funny, so i have decided to run a small caption contest where you can add comments of what the seal is doing or thinking, you can do this by using the comments button underneath each photo.
I will judge the contest in a months time, the funniest top 3 will get a email with a hi-res desktop photo of the famous Seal called "Chairlift". Rules - keep it clean - no profanity, closing date - midnight 30th November 2006, but you will still be able to post comments after. If you have problems eg: you cannot post, please make sure you have got a popup stopper disabled/also check that your firewall ad-popup is disabled too. Have FUN!!! Oh, and dont forget to put your name, so i know who posted it. |

Thu 27th Oct 2005 27th October The seal pup was seen by Sue (seal group) and myself to be in need of assistance as it was observed biting other seals as if it was its mother and getting bitten back, quite a shocking experience to witness on a seal so small.
A BIG THANKS to British Divers Marine Life Rescue(BDMLR)- Tim & Karl and Maz from the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek for a quick and sucessful rescue of the pup. The pup was weighed after rescue and was found to be just 12kg and its age to be 2 weeks. |
